Therapeutic Indications & Usage |

DOXINATE / Plus / OD is indicated for the relief of nausea and vomiting of pregnancy. |

Contraindications |
| |
|
| |
DOXINATE / DOXINATE PLUS /DOXINATE OD should not be used in patients who have previously exhibited hypersensitivity to its ingredients. |

Precautions |
| |
|
| |
DOXINATE / PLUS / OD should be administered during pregnancy only if strictly required. It is not advisable during lactation since pyridoxine (in DOXINATE / PLUS / OD) can inhibit breast milk secretion. DOXINATE / PLUS / OD should be co-administered with caution along with other central nervous depressants, alcohol, in epileptic and levodopa-treated Parkinson patients. |

Warnings |

| |
Due to risk of drowsiness, DOXINATE / PLUS / OD must be advocated with caution in those engaged in driving, operating machinery or other hazardous tasks and activities necessitating alertness. It is not for use in children, and must be advocated with caution in non-pregnant cases. |

Adverse Reactions |
| |
|
| |
Doxylamine succinate (in DOXINATE / PLUS / OD) may cause drowsiness, vertigo, nervousness, epigastric pain, headache, palpitation, diarrhea, disorientation, irritability, convulsions, urinary retention or insomnia are diarrhea, nausea with or without vomiting, and abdominal pain. Pyridoxine (in DOXINATE / PLUS / OD) is a vitamin that is generally recognized as having no adverse effects. In large doses, however, pyridoxine (in DOXINATE / PLUS / OD) can cause peripheral neuropathies. |

Pyridoxine (in DOXINATE / PLUS / OD) can reduce the effects of levodopa, phenobarbital and phenytoin. |

Recommended Dosage & Administration |

PREGNANCY |
| |
2 DOXINATE / DOXINATE PLUS TabletS AT Bed Time, One in the Morning and One in the Afternoon if required or as prescribed by the Physician.. Maximum upto 10 Tablets of DOXINATE / DOXINATE PLUS Tabs can be safely be given in divided doses. |
