Therapeutic Indications & Usage |

FLANZEN is indicated for reducing inflammation and edema occurring due to: |
| |
|
| |
- Musculoskeletal and rheumatic disorders.
- Surgery especially in trauma and plastic surgery.
- Dermatological conditions resulting in skin inflammation.
- Dental inflammation.
- Post-partum hematomas, breast engorgements, pregnancy-related thrombophlebitis as well as fibrocystic breast disease.

Besides it is also useful for reducing elasticity as well as viscosity of respiratory secretions. When advocated during infections, serratiopeptidase breaks down biofilm so as to eliminate colonization by relatively resistant bacteria. |

Contraindications |
| |

| |
FLANZEN is contraindicated in those who are hypersensitive to its ingredients. |

Precaution & Warnings |
| |
|
| |
FLANZEN must be coadministered with due precaution along with anticoagulants. |
| |
|
| |
FLANZEN must be advocated during pregnancy and lactation only if necessary. Safety and efficacy of serratiopeptidase (FLANZEN) in children has not been demonstrated. |

Adverse Reactions |
| |
|
| |
Serratiopeptidase (FLANZEN) can cause hypersensitivity reactions such as rash or redness, besides gastrointestinal side effects like anorexia, abdominal discomfort, nausea and vomiting. |

| |
Drug Interactions: |
| |
|
| |
If coadministered with anticoagulants, serratiopeptidase (FLANZEN) can increase the anticoagulative action. |

Recommended Dosage & Administration |
| |
|
| |
ADULTS: 1-4 FLANZEN-2.5 / 1-2 FLANZEN-5 / 1 FLANZEN-10 Tablet three times daily ½-1 hour before or 1-2 hours after meals; maximum for 3-4 months. |
