|
NIMCET JUICY is an NSAID indicated for relief of inflammation, pain and / or
fever associated with disorders of musculoskeletal system and connective
tissues like arthritis, various spondylitic conditions, bursitis, tendinitis And
tenosynovitis, lumbago / lumbalgia / lumbago-sciatica / sciatica; sports-related
injury; dentistry conditions like stomatitis, gingivitis, periodontitis, periapical
abscess; respiratory diseases like acute and chronic bronchitis; ENT infections
including rhinitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, otitis; ophthalmologic inflammation
affecting the eye or the adnexa; gynecological disorders like mastodyna, pelvic
disease, inflammatory disease, dysmenorrhea; urological situations like
prostatitis, urethritis. NIMCET JUICY is specifically advocated as an analgesic
in oncology, dental surgery, postoperative pain and headache.It is also advocated
as an antipyretic in various febrile conditions.

NIMCET JUICY is not indicated in those hypersensitive to it. The drug is
contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer or moderate to severe
hepatic impairment. |

Precautions & Warnings |
| |

|
|
| |
|
|
|
NIMCET JUICY should be administered with caution in patients with
compromised renal failure, congestive heart failure, cirrhosis, and volume
or salt - depleted individuals sensitive to renal effects of NSAIDs. Safety and
efficacy of nimesulide (in NIMCET Plus) in children has not been established.
NIMCET JUICY should be administered during pregnancy and lactation only
if clearly needed. Hematopoietic adverse reactions have been associated with
nimesulide (NIMCET JUICY) administration in HIV positive patients.

The most likely adverse effects of nimesulide (NIMCET JUICY) include
gastrointestinal disturbances (epigastric pain, heartburn, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting), skin reactions (rash, pruritus) and central nervous effects (dizziness,
somnolence, headache).

NIMCET JUICY has been well tolerated by patients with asthma, and those hypersensitive to aspirin,
or having a history of intolerance to other NSAIDs. It can cause transient increase in liver enzymes;
with higher than recommended dosages, renal toxicity can result. |

NIMCET JUICY should be coadministered with caution along with salicyclic acid, fenofibrate, valproic
acid, tolbutamide, methotrexate, warfarin, theophylline and frusemide.
