Contraindications |

NIMCET Plus is not indicated in those hypersensitive to its ingredients. It is contraindicated in patients
with active peptic ulcer or moderate to severe hepatic impairment.

Precautions & Warnings |

|
NIMCET Plus should be administered with caution in patients with compromised renal failure,
congestive heart failure, liver dysfunction, and volume - or salt - depleted individuals sensitive to renal effects of NSAIDs

|
NIMCET Plus should be administered during pregnancy and lactation only if clearly needed. Hematopoietic adverse reactions have been associated with nimesulide (in NIMCET Plus) administration in
HIV positive patients. Safety and efficacy of nimesulide (in NIMCET Plus) in children has not been established. Avoid alcoholic beverages whilst taking NIMCET Plus. |

Adverse Reactions |

| |
|
|
|
The most likely adverse effects of nimesulide (in NIMCET Plus) include gastrointestinal disturbances
(epigastric pain, heartburn, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting), skin reactions (rash, pruritus) and central nervous effects (dizziness, somnolence, headache).

|
| |
|
|
|
Nimesulide (in Nimcet plus) has been well tolerated by patients with asthma, and those hypersensitive
to aspirin, or having a history of intolerance to other NSAIDs. NIMCET Plus can cause transient increase
in liver enzymes; with higher than recommended dosages, renal toxicity can result.

Drug Interaction |

| |
|
|
|
Nimesulide (in NIMCET Plus) should be coadministered with caution alongwith salicyclic acid, fenofibrate,
valproic acid, tolbutamide, methotrexate, warfarin, theophylline and frusemide.

|
|
| |
|
|
|
Absorption of paracetamol from NIMCET Plus is increased by concomitant metoclopramide, and such
other agents. Probenecid can decrease it's clearance, whilst cholestyramine diminishes absorption of
paracetamol (in NIMCET Plus) when coadministered.
