|
SIGMA PANTOTHENATE is indicated to gain resistance to stress, shock and allergies, plus protection
against radiation-induced cellular damage. It also promotes wound healing and antibody formation.
SIGMA PANTOTHENATE is advocated to manage vitamin B5 deficiency which may manifest as
numbness in toes and painful burning of feet, headache, fatigue, insomnia, intestinal disturbances,
impaired resistance. For acne, alcoholism, shingles and skin disorders, allergies, alopecia, premature graying of hair, burning feet syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome, eripheral neuropathy, glossitis,
stomatitis, hyperkinesis, hypoglycemia and insomnia SIGMA PANTOTHENATE is useful. |

SIGMA PANTOTHENATE Injection [intramuscular (IM) / intravenous (IV)] is indicated after major
abdominal surgery to stimulate intestinal peristalsis, to minimize occurrence of paralytic ileus, for
inadequate intestinal tone causing abdominal distention, and to treat paralytic ileus. |

Adverse Reactions |

Besides the possibility of hypersensitivity reaction, SIGMA PANTOTHENATE is relatively well tolerated
and free from adverse reactions. Large doses may cause diarrhea.

Drug Interaction |
| |

|
|

| |
|
|
|
Elevated carbamazepine levels occur when cefixime (SI-FIXIM) is coadministered. When given with
warfarin / anticoagulants, the prothrombin time is elevated.

| |
|
|
|
Absorption of paracetamol from NIMCET Plus is increased by concomitant metoclopramide, and such
other agents. Probenecid can decrease it's clearance, whilst cholestyramine diminishes absorption of
paracetamol (in NIMCET Plus) when coadministered.
